Corfe Valley

A safe place to feel accepted, listened to and happy

We are friendly, professional and reliable and will always endeavour to go above and beyond to support the young people under our care.

We understand – from a professional and personal perspective

Meet Tom & Kirstie

We created Corfe Valley to give young people an environment where they can come and be themselves – without judgement and to connect with other individuals away from the demands of a traditional educational setting. Our vision of how Corfe Valley should be has been led by our own experience where we found our daughter, with SEMH needs, struggled to cope in a formal classroom. Corfe Valley has been shaped by listening to the children, their families and professionals as well as our own personal experiences.

We are both outstanding, qualified teachers with over 25 years’ experience in education, having worked as senior leaders in schools including a National Teaching Academy. We have experience of providing Alternative Provision to children with a range of SEND and SEMH needs. We are committed to ensuring all children and young people get the very best out of our provision.

“You are patient, kind and great at finding solutions if she tries to put up a barrier. I can’t thank you enough.”
